combilift.jpgCombilift Ltd., the global leaders in the long load handling sector, will be exhibiting numerous models from its range of customised 4-way forklifts on two stands at this year’s CeMat. Combilift’s interior stand is in Hall 25, Stand M03, and ongoing demonstrations of the 4-way forklifts in action will be taking place in the outside are, on Stand F04.

Combilift celebrates the 10th anniversary of the introduction of its products onto the market this year. The Combilift concept – to provide a space-saving and safe 4-way handling solution for long and bulky loads – has resulted in global sales of over 8,000 units to date. Working as a counterbalance, sideloader and narrow aisle forklift both inside and out, customers need only use one type of forklift – the Combilift – instead of a combination of other trucks. Sideways travel enables aisle widths to be reduced to 2m, representing dramatic increases in storage space. The versatility of the range and the company’s policy of providing customised trucks according to individual requirements has proved to be a huge success across a wide variety of industry sectors.

Since the introduction of the original IC powered Combilift, the company has, on average, launched a new model each year, and the scale of the development of the Combilift range will be reflected by the exhibits at Hanover. Exhibits will include the “core” C4000 4 tonne capacity Combilift, a Combilift SL – a 4-way sideloader, developed to offer far better manoeuvrability than a conventional sideloader, and a 5t capacity Lumber Truck with larger cab and wheels and higher ground clearance for more effective operations in timber yards and sawmills.

Capacities range from 2.5t to 14t, with a choice of diesel, LPG and electric power options. The wide variety of lift capacities, mast heights, platform dimensions and range of attachments means that in effect practically every Combilift is purpose-built to provide a truly customised handling solution.
