At today’s Packtech exhibition at the NEC, Birmingham, Goplasticpallets.com launched a new blue 1,200mm x 1,000mm perforated pool pallet. Goplasticpallets.com has developed the new product design solely for the UK, in conjunction with Belgian pallet manufacturer IPS. Created specifically in response to market demand, goplasticpallets.com is adding this new version to its increasingly successful range of high performance, heavy duty IPS pool pallets, introduced last year.
Manufactured using the latest gas assist injection technology from 100% recycled material, the blue pallet has a dynamic and racked loading capacity of 1,250kg, a smooth easy-to-clean surface, and a tough, durable construction that is resistant to splintering.
Goplasticpallets.com managing director, Jim Hardisty, commented: “There is increasing demand for this type of product, particularly from within the food and pharmaceutical markets. In the food sector, for instance, a high proportion of businesses are operating on a closed loop basis, including primary producers, manufacturers and suppliers, all of which have to meet stringent health and safety measures. Whilst plastic pallets are inherently more hygienic than their wooden counterparts, being resistant to mould and pests, this new generation product also boasts important environmental credentials, a vivid and immediately recognisable colour code, and great performance.”
Goplasticpallets.com is also showing its comprehensive range of medium weight pallets at Packtech. Developed for situations where the pallet is required for loads of less than 1,000kg when racked, these offer a lower cost alternative to heavy weight pallets. Their reduced weight also means manual handling is much easier.
