The design of CYMAN makes it suitable in all scenarios, from smaller companies operating a single Container Haulage Yard with a single area, to larger organisations needing to manage multiple Container Yards with designated areas and individual Container locations in a single database.
CYMAN can be operated in Real-Time, giving the ability to complete both Ingate and Outgate functions and auto-generate the relevant Unit Interchange Note at the Gate window. It is equally suitable for post event recording of Inward & Outward movements by simple and straightforward completion of Ingate and Outgate forms as part of the intuitive graphical user interface.
CYMAN is EDI enabled for CODECO EDIFACT messages to be generated directly to the Customer allowing Real-Time gate movements to be received by Container Control systems eliminating paper reports and double keying of movements. Fargo Systems Limited has developed CODECO interfaces to many major Container Shipping Lines and has the knowledge & experience to implement other interfaces as the requirement arises.
The recording of movements allows Reporting on Stock Levels and Movement History as well as the calculation of Dwell Times in the Yard. All Reports in CYMAN can be previewed, printed or E-Mailed as required. CYMAN offers the concept of creating ‘Yard Jobs’ to carry out work on a Container that is ingated to the Yard such as transhipping the cargo to a trailer. A Job Sheet can be produced to record work carried out and resources used. Movements can be easily retrieved for view or update by means of the filterable Movements Explorer or by a Container Number Search.
